During the 2003-04 school year, over 5,000 students
throughout Hampton Roads were introduced to the messages of the
Trashanator. From a contract between
the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission, HR CLEAN and the
Southeastern Public Service Authority, Trashanator II has
visited 14 schools and participated in the Virginia Beach Earth Day
celebration at Mount Trashmore. The contract has been renewed
and performances will continue in the 2004-05 school year.
