Telephone Book Recycling
It's that time of year when new phones books are received and outdated ones need to be recycled. Contact your local solid waste management office to find out where you can recycle your old phone books.
Whether you're a business or a resident, your telephone book has an opportunity to be recycled.

The Southeastern Public Service Authority (SPSA) also offers local businesses, schools, residents and municipalities recycling programs. Contact the SPSA Business Recycling offices at (757) 420-4700 for details on these and other services. Or check out their website by clicking

Check the local yellow pages for others throughout the region offering business recycling services.
Hampton Roads Residents:
All residents of Gloucester, Hampton, Newport News, Virginia Beach and those residents in the SPSA* and VPPSA** curbside recycling programs are encouraged to recycle their telephone books by placing them in their curbside recycling containers or by taking them to a local drop off center.
